Full day tourBangkok to Kanchanaburi: Nature and History in One Day

6:50 – 7:00 AM: Begin your day with pick-ups from select Bangkok locations, including Khaosan Road, Silom, Sukhumvit, Sathon, and Hua Lamphong.

 

9:30 – 9:50 AM: Arrive in Kanchanaburi and start your historical journey with a visit to the iconic River Kwai Bridge. Proceed to the JEATH War Museum to gain insights into the life and times of WWII POWs.

 

11:00 AM – 12:20 PM: Board a train from the River Kwai Bridge station. Traverse the “Death Railway,” absorbing the breathtaking vistas till you reach the Krasae Cave Station.

 

12:30 – 1:15 PM: Recharge with a scrumptious Thai lunch at the Wang Pho Viaduct station area.

 

2:00 – 3:50 PM: Venture into Hellfire Pass, a poignant landmark of the WWII era. Walk the railway cut into the mountain, reflecting on the sacrifices of the prisoners who built it. Take a moment to honor the fallen at the dedicated shrine.
